Ship Management

Lognar Maritime LTD has experience in providing of the management different type of vessels, such as: livestock, bulk carriers, general cargos, LPG, Lo-Ro, multipurpose vessels and tankers. in the safest and most proper manner possible.

We provide ships with professionally organized, technical support from shore-based management. Our team offers practical advice on all technical aspects, including the application of the latest rules to any ship under management. Our standard management package for a vessel consists of the following main services:

Chartering Lognar Maritime LTD provides chartering service for different type of the vessels. Considering character of cargo, volume of party and a route we will develop the most rational scheme of delivery of cargo, we will offer our clients the most convenient port processing of cargoes.

 Our Technical management team aims at providing optimum service to ship owners to ensure that their vessels are operational round the clock with near zero off hire time.
Our ship staff is well trained and motivated to maintain their vessel and its machinery in peak operational condition with prudent use of spares and stores.
We monitor each and every activities of the vessels so as to ensure the clients that everything is within the budget and the reports are being send at regular intervals.

Our ship management provide technical management with teams consisting of ship superintendents and personnel officers , all led by dedicated fleet managers – all of whom are experienced Chief Engineers or Masters

Crew Management

We have in our database some 9 thousand seamen of different ranks.
All the seafarers are experienced and have appropriate diplomas and certificates in accordance with STCW 78/95 Convention.

 All the seamen have knowledge of English, which is sufficient for professional and everyday communication.

Each seafarer is thoroughly screened to verify experience, competence and fitness to forthcoming job, and previous experience and performance appraisal are checked with former employers.

 P&I and H&M insurances Lognar Maritime LTD provides vessels insurance services depending on concrete circumstances and clients demands in respect of Hull and Mashinery (H&M) and/or Protection and Indemnity (P&I) insurance.

Ship Repairing

We have a rich many years experience of ship repairing.

We provide dry docking in any Ukrainian shipyard under our technical management and carry out many different kind of works according to the shipowners repair list.

On the stage of preparation of the repair list, or right up to the beginning of ship's hull repair works with (or in case of) essential metal replacement as for plates as well as for steel works, we analyze possibility of cost minimizing, based on the calculation method.
Working out the special norms permanent thickness is linked to the specific ship's hull and takes into account its actual condition according to inspection.

Besides, at will of the customer, the perspective of future usage of the ship is taken into account, which excludes increasing of unnecessary ship's hull elements replacement permanent thickness. The worked out project, in the stage of repair preparation or during repair works, passes the Russian Maritime Shipping Register procedure in the context of confirmation of ship's hull and/or its' renewal technical condition conformance.

Basic repairs

• Repair of auxiliary devices, boilers and ship systems;
• Repair of fire alarm station, autopilot, bilge water separators and etc., ship’s computers and microprocessor systems.
The most of the above ideas and that were made by our staff are protected by inventor's certificates and are registered in several European countries.
 Most of them don’t have any analogies in a world shiprepair practice and allow carrying out repairs during vessel operation.



Spare parts and Ship Supply

We supply a wide range of spare parts: main and auxiliary engines, diesel and hydraulic drives and controls, automatics, electronic and electrotechnic components.
 For costly main engine parts, we can provide offers from a number of different sources.

This service gives ship-owners and managers the opportunity to select major parts according to several criteria, availability, location, price, class, etc.

We monitor the parts market constantly for quality aftermarket parts, for main engines, generator engines and the auxiliary equipment.

There are many lines of excellent aftermarket parts available for ships' machinery, and there a others that should be avoided at all costs.

Our knowledgeable team can react immediately to your request and can source and dispatch any spare parts to anywhere in the world.


Service Teams

Our Service teams have been attending vessels world wide for afloat structural repairs, fabrication, generator installations, routine engine overhauls, hydraulic equipment repairs and installation.

Teams have also been sent for specialized jobs like turbocharger overhaul, crankshaft alignment and bridge equipment installation.
Our team of Engineers, Electricians, Marine Fitters, Welders, Fabricators, Painters, Blasters and cleaning gang can be deployed on board at short notice.

Their stay on board can vary from 1 week - 1 month or more -depending upon the requirements of the principals. Qualifications - Our services teams consist of the following: Superintendent - Class One Certified Marine Engineer. Supervisor - Highly Skilled Fitter with experience of trade. Marine Fitters - Certified Diesel Mechanics with hand on experience on Lathe, Shaping Machine, gas cutting and welding.

Welder cum Fabricator - Welder holding reputed Classification Society 6 G Certificate. Riggers cum Helper - Experience riggers from Millwright Department of shipbuilders / repair yard. Painters -With painting experience from shipyard. Cleaners - Wipers / Donkey Greases with sea going experience.



Ship Repairing

 "In-Situ" Machinery Our specialists carry out all kinds of repair works of main and auxiliary engines, including works of machining, grinding and polishing the crankshaft’s main and crankpin journals,without lifting of the blocks – "in situ".

We are ready to execute the work at any port of the world, during cargo operations or during vessel’s voyage. Special attention is paid on inspection of defective journal and condition of radius, using modern technologies and portable equipment for defining the hardness.

 The technology of machining is approved by classification society, and is made with special portable 5 equipment, that allows achieving the exactness of machining up to 0.01 mm.
The surface condition after machining corresponds to the maker’s standards.
